UCAT
The UCAT is the first step in your medicine application process, and perhaps the most important one. Achieving highly in the UCAT will heavily influence which universities invite you to interview. Knowing the most efficient techniques to approach each subtest with is essential in maximising your score. We help with these, giving our top tips for preparation and exam day, and going through the different types of questions within each subtest.

Picking universities
Once you have completed the UCAT, it’s now time to pick the universities you want to apply to. Due to the competitive nature of the medicine application process, picking a university must be done strategically in order to maximise your chance of being offered an interview. Your academic grades, personal preferences and UCAT score should all be considered when making choices. As we have been through the application process ourselves, we have learnt from the mistakes our peers have made in this stage. We use this experience to help you choose which universities to apply to.
Interviews
This is the final step in your application, but perhaps the most nerve wracking. There are 3 types of interviews different medical schools use; MMI (multiple mini interviews), panel and traditional. Each interview looks at your different skills and character traits. Practice is key at this step. Mock interviews are important to partake in as they mimicked the environment and feelings one would experience during the real deal. We offer interview practice and advice and mock interviews to simulate the actual interview, with detailed feedback at the end.
